Tulsa Police Clock Driver At 107 mph! The Excuse “Laundry Day”
Tulsa Police had a rather unusual encounter recently when they spotted a driver zooming down the Broken Arrow Expressway at a whopping 107 mph. The culprit? A white Camry, seemingly in a hurry to get somewhere important.
Upon pulling over the speedster, officers were met with an unexpected explanation—the driver and their buddies were on their way to do laundry! While the excuse drew a few chuckles, the situation quickly turned serious.
The driver also had a suspended license on his record. The driver was slapped with a citation for aggravated speeding and driving with a suspended license, which means a court date and a fine of up to $500 or even 10 days in jail. But wait, there’s more! It turns out our laundry-loving driver was also driving with a suspended license. Luckily, the officer let the passenger with a valid license take the wheel, ensuring everyone made it home safely to do the “laundry”.
Who knew laundry day could be such an adrenaline-fueled adventure?
