VALLEY CITY, N.D. (KFGO/KVRR) — Two people are in custody after a multi-agency investigation into fraudulent credit card purchases in Jamestown made over the internet.
Police said Chanulae Smith, 27, and Courtney Collins, 34, were arrested after purchases were traced to a home in Valley City where officers seized a stolen firearm, marijuana, cell phones, laptops and computers, and a vehicle.
Smith was arrested on suspicion of unauthorized use of personal identifying information, theft of property, and possession of a stolen firearm.
Collins was arrested on suspicion of possession of a stolen firearm.
