This will be the 89th meeting all-time between North Dakota and South Dakota State. NoDak holds a 47-36-5 lead in the series between the two programs and a 19-18-2 edge in Brookings. Since the turn of the century, UND also holds a 5-4 edge in the series. Last season, No. 1 South Dakota State defeated North Dakota, 49-35, inside the Alerus Center.
