It’s been 44 years since Billy Wolfe Jr was brutally murdered. I make that statement with conviction. He was murdered. The anniversary of his death was actually….yesterday.
44 years ago today Wolf’s body was found inside two green garbage bags by a canoeist on the Red River. He was cut in half, and was reported missing 8 days prior to his body being found. Here’s the craziest part; The police say they know who did it. According to The Globe @dglobe.com-
” The case remains one of the most gruesome unsolved murders in local history, though local investigators say they know who committed the crime. They just don’t have enough evidence to bring their case to a jury without a real confession.”
A truly horrifying discovery. According to local police, confessions roll in with abundance during the August 20th-21st time range, but most are dismissed due to faulty claims. I sure hope someone comes forward before their deaths to clear their conscience.
