DEVILS LAKE, N.D. – Ramsey County Sheriff Steve Nelson says authorities were called out about 1:30 p.m. Saturday after a boat capsized on Devils Lake.
Nelson says four people believed to be from Minnesota ended up in the lake. The boat turned over and sent the four into the lake.
All were wearing life jackets and were safely brought to shore and taken to the hospital to be examined. One person was found about a half a mile from where the boat capsized.
The boat was not taking part in the Devils Lake Chamber Walleye Tournament which had been called off for the day due to the weather.
