MOORHEAD (KFGO) – Two people face drug charges after a fentanyl bust in Moorhead.
Police say 32-year-old Shananda Fleming of Dunseith, N.D. and 25-year-old Abraham Lawrence of Brooklyn Park, Minn. were acting suspiciously when a police officer conducted a traffic stop for an equipment violation early Sunday morning on 20th St. near Belsly Boulevard. The car had also hit the median.
Police say the driver initially gave a false name before the car was searched. 300 fentanyl pills were seized with a street value of about $10,000. It was the fourth significant fentanyl seizure in Clay County since March.
