On February 24th, Russia launched a large-scale invasion of Ukraine, one of its neighbors to the southwest. It marked a major escalation between the countries, which had been in a state of conflict since 2014.

Voices of Children, a charitable foundation based in Ukraine, has been serving the psychological needs of children affected by the war in the country’s east since 2015.
Project Hope: Project HOPE is on the ground responding to the Ukraine crisis and is actively shipping essential medicines and medical supplies to assist Ukrainians.
Razom for Ukraine was founded in 2014 and has since launched efforts to build a stronger democracy in the country.
The National Bank of Ukraine has created an account where people from around the world can donate to the country’s military.
Sunflower of Peace – This nonprofit organization is raising money to prepare first aid medical tactical backpacks for paramedics and doctors on the front lines.
International Committee of the Red Cross – This Switzerland-based organization is aiming to help people affected by the conflict and support the work of the Ukrainian Red Cross.
The YMCA YMCA of the USA’s World Service Campaign is working in coordination with YMCA Ukraine, YMCA Europe and the World YMCA to help people and communities who are impacted by the conflict.
