ALEXANDRIA, MN (KFGO) – A Kensington man convicted of beating another man to death in Douglas County will spend nearly five years in prison.
Jacob Larson received a 7 1/2 year sentence for manslaughter in the 2018 death of Steven “Beaver” Hlinsky outside the Muddy Boot Bar in Forada.
Larson and another man were seen on surveillance video pulling Hlinsky outside before the beating.
He died eight days after the attack. Larson is expected to serve two-thirds of the sentence.
