Ryan Reynolds Donates Over $13,000 To Help Cancer-Stricken Welsh Teen Visit New York

Wrexham AFC co-owner Ryan Reynolds donated £10,000 ($13,638) to help 13-year-old Lexi Collins from Deeside, North Wales, visit New York City this Christmas. Collins was diagnosed with aggressive heart cancer in June 2025 and has undergone two open-heart surgeries, received a pacemaker, and now faces intensive chemotherapy. The GoFundMe campaign organized by Wrexham Police FC has raised £13,670 ($18,682), surpassing its £5,000 goal. “I am absolutely blown away with the kindness and generosity of you all, because of you all my beautiful girl will get to see New York,” said her mother Rebecca Collins.
