A Washington state man faces kidnapping charges after allegedly attempting to forcibly remove a female barista from a drive-thru coffee stand. Authorities claim Ezekiel Guerrero, 19, ordered a beverage at the Ladybug Bikini Espresso in Lakewood, then “grabbed the victim by the arm and attempted to pull her through the window toward his car.” The barista braced herself against the counter, preventing Guerrero from abducting her. Guerrero later confessed to detectives, stating he had been under the influence of alcohol and marijuana, and was feeling “sad, angry, and isolated” due to relationship troubles. Though he denied intending harm, Guerrero was charged with attempted first-degree kidnapping.
