A Florida man has received a two-year probation sentence for simultaneously maintaining marriages to three separate women. Henry Betsey Jr. pleaded guilty to bigamy charges after one of his wives, Tonya, discovered he was still legally married to two other women – Michele and Brandy. The three women, all from different Florida counties, had met and married Betsey through various dating websites over a two-year period, unaware of each other’s existence. The judge credited Betsey for the eight days he had already spent in jail, and also ordered him to undergo a mental health evaluation, complete a certified battery intervention program, and avoid all contact with his three ex-wives. Additionally, Betsey was prohibited from using social media and dating websites. He was also recently arrested in Virginia for assault and battery of a family or household member. (Complex)
