Emergency responders in Fresno, California, were called to a canal near McKinley and Peach Avenues following a 911 report of a person trapped in rushing water. Upon arrival, authorities found what appeared to be a body stuck against a grate in the water. However, upon closer inspection, it was revealed to be a life-sized blow-up doll. The police and firefighters contacted the irrigation district to remove the doll from the canal. This incident mirrors a similar situation in New Zealand where police responded to a report of a headless body washed up on Tapuae Beach, only to discover that it was a realistic adult toy. (Upi)
