Two burglars stole 85 koi fish from the Oak House Restaurant in Yucaipa, California, as captured on security cameras. The fish, valued between $50 and $1,500 each, were taken bucket by bucket from an outdoor area. David Smith, 42, was arrested for grand theft after his vehicle was identified on camera. The second suspect is still unidentified. Owners Silvia Duarte and her husband, who have raised the fish for 20 years, expressed disbelief and disappointment. Despite the arrest, only five fish were recovered, leaving the majority unaccounted for. The stolen koi fish were a beloved feature for outdoor diners at the restaurant. (Newser)
