Sydney Sweeney recently shared details of her physical transformation to portray boxer Christy Martin in an upcoming biopic. The Euphoria actress underwent intense training for three and a half months, resulting in a weight gain of over 30 pounds. Sweeney described her body as “completely different” due to the rigorous workout regimen, causing her to struggle fitting into her clothes. “I’m usually a size 23 in jeans, and I was wearing a size 27,” Sweeney said. “My boobs got bigger. And my butt got huge. It was crazy! I was like, ‘Oh my God.’” Despite the changes, she embraced her increased strength and altered appearance. Christy Martin, a renowned female boxer, achieved significant success in her career before surviving a murder attempt in 2010. Sweeney said she’s “honored to step into her shoes” and expressed gratitude for the opportunity to bring Martin’s inspiring story to life. (Hollywoodreporter)
