British daredevil Ryan Luney, 28, achieved a new Guinness World Record by executing 7 backflips in 30 seconds while engulfed in flames. Luney, known for his daredevil stunts and previous world records, wore protective gear and layers soaked in gel to shield himself from the fire’s heat. Following the successful acrobatic feat, he was promptly extinguished with a fire extinguisher and wrapped in a towel. Luney expressed his surprise at surpassing the record for the most standing backwards somersaults in 30 seconds (full body burn). He mentioned feeling motivated to pursue additional challenges in the future, inspired by his recent accomplishment. (UPI)
