A 47-year-old Florida man was recently gored by a bison while visiting Yellowstone National Park. Rangers suspect the visitor approached the animal and got too close for its comfort. The man sustained minor injuries, and the incident is still under investigation. This is the first reported bison injury of 2025. National Park Rangers remind guests to stay more than 25 yards away from all large animals, and at least 100 yards away from bears and wolves. (NPS)
