A woman who posted to Reddit is excited to celebrate her pregnancy…but she’s unsure if she should announce the good news on Mother’s Day. The poster’s brother-in-law and sister-in-law just had a baby, and this is their first Mother’s Day as parents. “I can’t help but wonder if we’re stepping on their toes by sharing the news that day?” the woman asked. “Especially when I consider that it has taken them many years, multiple miscarriages, and several rounds of IVF to finally have their baby.” Some commenters think she should give the sister-in-law a heads up before the big day, but others don’t see a problem. “Mother’s Day isn’t about your mom, or your husband’s mom, or your SIL. It’s about motherhood!” one wrote. “I think it’s fine to announce. And a sweet time to do that.” (AOL)
