Luigi Mangione is the subject of a new musical in San Francisco. The 26-year-old, who has been accused of killing CEO Brian Thompson, is the inspiration for “Luigi”, which will premiere at the Taylor Street Theater in June. This 60-minute piece is being directed by Nova Bradford and stars Jonny Stein as Luigi. “With real-life cellmates Sam Bankman-Fried and Diddy by his side, Luigi navigates friendship, justice, and the absurdity of viral fame,” the official synopsis reads. Creators claim to be taking inspiration from the musical “Chicago.” (Playbill)
