Florida Woman Climbs Fence, Attacks Man With Garden Hoe After He Cancels Plans
Some people take rejection hard, but this Florida woman took it straight to Attack Mode.
Melanie Davis, 47, was arrested in Frostproof, Florida, after allegedly scaling a fence, breaking into a man’s home, and attacking him with a garden hoe—all because he canceled their plans.
According to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, Davis showed up at the man’s house around 3 a.m., shouting from outside. When that didn’t get the response she wanted, she climbed the fence, forced her way in, and started swinging—first with her fists, then with a gardening tool. The attack left the man with a serious cut on his arm, and he was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Davis, on the other hand, was taken straight to jail, where officers probably didn’t have to introduce themselves, since this was her 28th arrest in Polk County. Her long rap sheet includes battery, petty theft, and even domestic violence against a senior citizen.
She now faces multiple charges, including armed burglary with battery, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, simple battery, and criminal mischief.
