DoorDash Driver Claims He Was Shot At by Men on Horseback During Delivery
A DoorDash delivery in Texas took a wild and dangerous turn when the driver claimed he was shot at by a group of men on horseback. Matthew, the driver, was stuck behind the riders who were blocking traffic on a country road in Rosharon, intentionally causing a backup for over 50 cars.
After trying to politely ask the riders to move, the situation escalated when one of the men dismounted, pulled out a gun, and allegedly threatened Matthew. He called 911 and managed to escape onto Highway 521, but not before hearing shots fired and finding a bullet hole in his car seat.
Despite the terrifying ordeal, Matthew completed his delivery, and the customer was understanding about the delay, relieved that Matthew was unharmed.
Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office is investigating, but no suspects have been identified yet.
