GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KFGO) – The all-clear was given at the Alerus Center in Grand Forks after a lockdown Tuesday afternoon, caused by a suspicious device located in the parking lot.
A perimeter was established around the device and the Grand Forks Regional Bomb team was called to assist with the incident. It was determined that the device was a concrete pressure meter which was no threat to the public.
Video surveillance indicated that around 1 p.m. a white SUV drove through the Alerus Center parking lot, left the pressure meter, and drove off. The device was reported to police a half hour later. Authorities say there is no further information to release regarding the suspicious device or vehicle. The all-clear was given shortly after 4:30 p.m.
Anyone with information, or who may have witnessed the incident is asked to contact police.
