ST. PAUL, MINN. – The Minnesota D-N-R says the agency “vehemently rejects the use of violence, or insinuation of violence, in any form” in response to an employee’s social media comment on the Trump campaign rally shooting.
The post on the D-N-R employee’s personal account reportedly said, “Too bad they weren’t a better shot.” D-N-R officials said in a statement, “The recent assassination attempt on former President Trump was a heinous act with tragic consequences.” They called the comment ” reprehensible” and inconsistent with the views and values of the Minnesota D-N-R and are thoroughly examining the matter.
