BISMARCK (KFGO) – The Bismarck Fire Department was called to a fire at a single-family
home in North Bismarck on Saturday evening.
At approximately 6:46 PM on April 13, 2024, Central Dakota Communications received a call for a structure fire at a home on the 500 block of North 13th Street. Bismarck fire crews were dispatched to the scene.
Firefighters arrived on the scene at 6:50 PM to find a single-family house with heavy smoke on the exterior of the back of the home. They found the siding burning and smoke coming from the eaves. The fire had extended to an attic area. All occupants were out of the home when the fire crews arrived. The firefighters put out the fire and then conducted an overhaul to find any remaining smoldering materials.
No fire personnel were injured. Metro Area Ambulance transported one civilian to the hospital. Their condition is unknown. Fire damage was primarily to the exterior and attic of the home, with smoke damage extending throughout the house.
