In the Stats Perform Poll, South Dakota State continues to hold the top spot with all 56 of the first-place votes. North Dakota State is right outside the top-five at No. 6, trailed by South Dakota at No. 10. Southern Illinois dropped to No. 13, while North Dakota moved up one spot to No. 15. Youngstown State is the final team from the MVFC ranked in the poll and is No. 23.
Six teams from the league are also ranked in the AFCA FCS Coaches’ Top 25 Poll. SDSU has the top spot with all the first-place votes, followed by NDSU at No. 7. SIU dropped to No. 13, while UND remains No. 15. USD moved up four spots to No. 17 and YSU rounds out the MVFC in the poll, tied for No. 20 with Chattanooga.
No. 15 North Dakota will host No. 6/7 North Dakota State this Saturday at 1 p.m. The game will be televised on Midco Sports and carried on the Home of Economy Radio Network.
