ST. PAUL, MN – Some pharmacies and healthcare providers in Minnesota are getting the new COVID-19 vaccine this week.
The state Health Department’s Jessica Munroe says the updated shot protects against the latest strains of the virus that are circulating in our communities. Munroe says the shot is recommended for everyone ages six months and older.
She says the vaccine is the best tool we have to prevent the spread. COVID cases are increasing slightly in parts of Minnesota.
