MOORHEAD, MINN. (KFGO) – A domestic incident led to two arrests in Moorhead.
Police responded t a report of a disturbance about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 400 block of 16th Street South. A man reported he had a gun pointed at him and was threatened. Police, with guns drawn and carrying armoured shields blocked off the street and found out the man with the gun had gone inside his home.
Officers were able make contact with the man and called out four people from inside. Police found two more adults hiding inside. No shots were fired and there were no serious injuries.
Courtney Smith, 31, was arrested on domestic assault charges. During a follow-up search of the residence, a stolen handgun was found. Travon Spears, 21, was arrested for 2nd degree assault and possession of stolen property involving the threat with the gun.
