OAKDALE, Minn. – The Minnesota State Patrol said two people were killed in a wrong-way crash on I-694 in Oakdale in the east Twin Cities metro early Thurs. morning. The crash also left a three-year-old child injured.
The driver of a car was headed the wrong way in the northbound lanes and and hit a van head-on. The drivers, a 28-year-old man from St. Paul, and a 32-year-old man from Rice, Minnesota, were killed. The child in the second vehicle was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.
