DULUTH, Minn. – A Duluth man is facing multiple charges for allegedly firing a shotgun and leading authorities on a pursuit Thursday night.
According to deputies, 32-year-old Frederick Sievert demanded a woman open her garage door and, when she refused, he discharged his shotgun into the door.
Sievert is accused of leading patrol cars on a chase on Highway 61 along the North Shore before crashing into some rocks at a gravel pit.
Sivert is charged with first-degree burglary with a dangerous weapon, fleeing a peace officer, and second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon.
