BLOOMINGTON, MN (KFGO WCCO) – Mall of America announced Wed. that it will partially reopen on June 1.
The plan is to open stores with modified operating hours and limiting shoppers to 50% of capacity.
The mall will keep all dining and attractions closed to the public until further notice. Food operators will still be able to offer curbside pickup and delivery. The mall will also implement new sanitizing standards for both its retailers and common areas.
A spokesperson said “reopening a building the size of Mall of America is no small task, but we are confident taking the necessary time to reopen will help us create the safest environment possible. We look forward to welcoming back our team members, tenants and guests,” the spokesperson concluded.
