LONG PRAIRIE, Minn. – Neighbors and law enforcement are trying to determine who shot and killed a dog in the owner’s driveway near Long Prairie in central Minnesota.
Greg Brunner was working on a car when he heard gunshots and found his golden lab, Waylon, bleeding. Brunner rushed the dog to a veterinarian where he died. A neighbor told Brunner that he saw a pickup back out of the driveway after the shots were fired.
The neighbor wrote in a social media post that he shared the information hoping that the “low life” scum responsible for taking Waylon can be brought to justice.
The Todd County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
