ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Minnesota parents of a former University of Missouri fraternity member are supporting a Missouri state bill aimed at helping hazing victims.
Danny Santulli of Eden Prairie suffered permanent brain damage in an October 2021 hazing incident.
His mother, Mary Pat Santulli, said “Danny’s Law” protects people who call 911 to get medical help for a hazing victim. She said if someone had come to our son’s aid when he was in distress, much of the harm he suffered could have been avoided.
Santulli is now blind and cannot walk or speak.
Investigators said he was forced to drink a bottle of vodka, and was found unresponsive on a couch before a frat member dropped him off at the hospital.
