LAKEVILLE, Minn. (KFGO) – A Burnsville, Minnesota man died after rear-ending a semi truck and trailer driven by a man from Fargo early Saturday.
According to the State Patrol, just before 1:30 a.m., the 39-year-old Burnsville man was driving south on I-35 in the Twin Cities in an SUV when he rear ended a car, but continued driving before rear-ending the semi-truck trailer at a high rate of speed.
The SUV went into the median, hit the cable barriers, and rolled, ejecting the driver. The State Patrol has not indicated whether the driver of the SUV was wearing a seat belt.
The driver of the semi, 44-year-old Muhiadin Farah, and two people in the car were not hurt.
