FARGO (KFGO) – Three people were arrested for a pair of police pursuits in Cass County over the weekend.
The sheriff’s office says in the first pursuit, a car driven by 26-year-old Manni Schulz of Moorhead failed to stop for West Fargo police and headed north on Sheyenne St and west on Main Ave. where the chase was stopped. A deputy then saw the car, with its lights off, at high speed. Schulz went west on I-94, headed north on a county road and hit the ditch. Schulz and a passenger were arrested.
The other pursuit took place when a deputy attempted a traffic stop on a vehicle with no lights near 32nd Ave. S and I-29. That driver was later stopped by Moorhead police near 8th St. and 30th Ave. S.
46-year-old Darrell Boggs was arrested on several charges that include fleeing, carrying a concealed weapon and having a gun as a convicted felon.
