CHANHASSEN, Minn. – The National Weather Service has issued an ice storm warning for far southern Minnesota through Tuesday with ice accumulations near 1/4 inch forecast in Mankato, Albert Lea, and Fairmont. There’s a winter storm warning for central and southern Minnesota through Tuesday.
There could be six to 10 inches of snow in central and western Minnesota from Marshall to Redwood Falls to Hutchinson, with four to eight inches possible in the metro area. Freezing rain and sleet will likely mix with the snow, causing slippery driving conditions.
