WILLMAR, Minn. (KFGO) – The Minnesota State Patrol responded to a fatal crash around 10:13 am on MN Highway 40 at County Road 7 in Saint John’s Township.
The SUV was traveling eastbound on MN Hwy 40 when the vehicle collided at the intersection of County Road 7 with a northbound semi.
The passenger of the SUV, Sharon Berglund, 56, died on the scene. The 62-year-old Daniel Berglund driver, also from Labolt, SD, was transported to Centracare – Rice Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the semi was 40-year-old Korey Cox of York, AL, who suffered no injuries.
