What the what!? The old “It’s not my pants” excuse….do you think it worked?
In western Pennsylvania, a guy named Stephen Patterson flew out of a small airport near Pittsburgh. Before his flight, he bought some drinks at the snack bar but paid with a fake $100 bill. The cashier didn’t notice because it looked real at first glance. After he checked it a second time he noticed “Motion Picture Use Only” on the $100 bill.
Police figured out who Stephen was and they got a warrant and arrested him when his return flight landed. And what excuse do you think he gave them? He claimed that he found the $100 bill in his pants and didn’t realize it was fake because they were pants that he borrowed from someone else. He’s facing felony charges for using counterfeit bills.
