FARGO (KFGO) – One man is dead, another person was injured and a third is under arrest following a two-vehicle crash in Fargo.
The State Patrol says the crash happened on the I-29 northbound exit ramp from I-94 around 4:40 p.m. Wednesday.
An SUV pulling a dolly trailer carrying a car had an issue with the dolly and pulled over on the shoulder of the off-ramp. The driver and a passenger, both from Fargo, exited and were standing behind the SUV.
Another car then rear-ended the dolly carrying the car and pushed it forward striking the occupants of the Suburban. The 50-year-old driver and the 39-year-old passenger were both taken to Sanford Hospital with serious injuries. The passenger died at the hospital.
The driver of the car that caused the collision, 41-year-old Shandi Cordner, of Clitherall, Minnesota, was not injured. He was arrested for felony possession of methamphetamine. Additional charges are pending.
