WEST FARGO, N.D. (KFGO) – West Fargo Fire Chief Dan Fuller says it was a “very close call.”
Fire crews were on the scene of a semi fire on the shoulder of the westbound lanes of I-94 near the Main Avenue exit in West Fargo on Tuesday around 7 a.m. when a UPS delivery truck narrowly missed hitting the firefighters.
The state patrol says the delivery van was going too fast for conditions, overcorrected, entered the median and overturned on its side. It was raining at the time.
The van’s driver, Kiaumi Wittauer, of Jamestown was cited for care required. There were no injuries.
