I’m taking a break from blogging about burgers. I love pizza too. Always have and always will. Problem with pizza is everyone has to say “yep” let’s have pizza.
That just happened and I’m thankful.
While for the most part I’m a meat pizza guy. Going to BlackBird Woodfire the design of 9″ personal pizzas for each of gave me the opportunity to have pizza with everything from ?edgy? pineapple (I’m a meat pizza guy remember) to apples and even sunny side up eggs, syrup and more.
While this sunny side up egg looks pretty suspect. Let me tell you the LumberJack pizza was not just good. It was really good. So was the apple and sausage. Why wouldn’t it be if Guy Fieri from D3 loved it?
Who came up with these idea’s and how is another story. But it’s a testament to giving something different and new a try.
Thanks to my kids who decided to share I was able to say “yep, not to bad”. If it was up to me the pepperoni, sausage and Canadian bacon would be an upper crust choice because of a locally sourced crust second to none.
But the overall pie was Gold Star Grade A. It was delicious.
