FARGO (KFGO KVRR) – A former employee of a Fargo memory care center who’s facing a manslaughter charge has pleaded not guilty in the death of a resident.
59-year-old Rachel Cooper is charged in the death of Gary Pearson, a retired businessman and radio station owner in Grafton.
On August 3, police were called to Maple View Memory Care at 4552 36th Ave. S for a report of an assault of a patient by a caregiver earlier that day. Pearson was 78.
Cooper is also charged with endangering a vulnerable adult.
