I have heard from multiple doctors, friends and baby experts that when you are pregnant with your second you can feel baby moving as early as 16 weeks. Once my bump app said I had hit 16 weeks I waited ALL day to feel baby moving. I didn’t. After another two weeks I felt discouraged and upset that I still couldn’t feel anything.
Fortunately a day after I hit 18 weeks, I had an appointment with Stephanie from Blooming Baby Ultrasound HD. I was instantly reassured that everything was okay with the mini soccer player I had moving around inside of me. Even though I couldn’t feel my sweet boy moving around I was able to see him in my HD ultrasound. I could see EVERYTHING. His hands moving around and covering his face, his legs doing high kicks and his mouth suckling. Not only was I instantly reassured that baby was okay but Stephanie was able to help me experience my baby in a completely different and unique way.
I had told my mother in law about my experience and how amazing it was to see baby on the “big screen”. Luckily for her Stephanie has a HUGE studio with two sofas………. I was able to bring my mother in law and two year old to my last appointment so they could experience it first hand.
It was a special experience for her to see her grandson up close and personal, a technology that she only recently found out about. We watched him move around and lick his arm. My two year old also had a great time and was even able to give his baby a kiss on the big screen. It was a great memory for the three of us to experience together.
