FARGO, N.D. (KFGO) – A suspicious device found outside the entrance door to an apartment at 2401 33rd Avenue South in Fargo turned out to be no threat to the public.
The Red River Valley bomb squad was called out late Thursday afternoon to handle the device. As a precaution, police evacuated the apartment building, cordoned off 100 yards surrounding the building, and shut down several streets in the vicinity.
A short time later, the bomb squad determined the device was not dangerous and residents were allowed back in their apartments and the streets were reopened.
Police did not describe what type of device was found.
