Central Cass earned the No. 1 seed heading to the North Dakota State Class B girls basketball tournament at the Minot State Dome.
The Squirrels won the Region 1 championship with a 58-52 overtime win over Kindred.
Last year’s defending champs, Langdon Area/Edmore/Munich is the No. 4 seed and is looking to be the first team since Bishop Ryan to win back-to-back titles. Bishop Ryan won three straight from 2013-2015.
The Cardinals upended the Grafton Spoilers 52-41 in the state championship from the Betty Engelstad Sioux Center in 2020.
Grafton is the No. 2 seed with the lone undefeated team remaining in Kenmare at No. 3.
