A man has been arrested after leading Grand Forks police on a wild pursuit. Parked cars, a police squad, and trees were struck during the chase that started with a hit and run report late last night. 21-year-old Kyle Snobeck is facing a long list of charges including DUI, fleeing, reckless endangerment and carrying a concealed weapon.
Police say Snobeck sped away during a traffic stop, drove through neighborhoods without headlights on. He backed into a police squad vehicle while backing out of a trailer park after hitting three vehicles and then drove between two houses, striking trees until his pickup was disabled.
Snobeck was taken into custody and treated for minor injuries at Altru Hospital. No other injuries were reported.
