Victoria Monét’s Frequency of Love has earned the top spot in a fan poll highlighting the week’s new music releases. Billboard’s weekly vote showed the album receiving 40% of the total, placing it ahead of several other newly released projects.
Released October 2, Frequency of Love marks Monét’s second full-length studio album. The project follows Jaguar II and features 22 tracks, including previously released songs Let Me, Reach Out and Juicy.
The album also includes a substantial list of guest appearances. SZA, Bruno Mars, Bryson Tiller, Leon Thomas, Chlöe and Lucky Daye contribute across the tracklist. Monét’s daughter Hazel is featured with Leon Thomas on You Mean the World to Me, adding another family connection to the record.
Monét is also preparing to take the new material on the road. Her Frequency of Love Tour is scheduled to begin October 27 in Raleigh, North Carolina, giving fans a chance to hear songs from the album in a live setting.
