Sep 07 (Field Level Media) – The Minnesota Lynx signed veteran guard Aari McDonald on Monday. Terms were not disclosed.
McDonald, 28, last played in the WNBA for the Indiana Fever in 2025 and was the No. 3 overall pick in the 2021 draft by the Atlanta Dream.
She has career averages of 8.8 points and 3.1 assists in 136 games (42 starts) with the Dream (2021-23), Los Angeles Sparks (2024) and Fever.
McDonald sustained a season-ending injury to her right foot during Indiana’s Aug. 7, 2025 loss at Phoenix.
In a corresponding move, the league-leading Lynx (31-9) waived guard Eliska Joklova.
