Yasuhisa Hara’s Kingdom has reached another milestone, with Volume 80 debuting at No. 1 on Japan’s Book Hot 100. Billboard data for the August 17 to August 23, 2026 tracking period shows the new volume leading both physical bookstore sales and e-book activity.
The release comes during Kingdom’s 20th anniversary year, adding extra attention to one of Japan’s long-running manga series. As part of the anniversary celebrations, Kingdom Magazine 2026 was also released, featuring commemorative artwork from several well-known manga creators, including Eiichiro Oda, Masashi Kishimoto and Yoshihiro Togashi.
Elsewhere on the ranking, MAZZEL’s first photobook with ZEAL opened at No. 2 after performing especially well in online sales. Blue Lock Volume 40 followed at No. 3.
Keigo Higashino’s Eien no Kioku also moved higher, climbing from No. 6 to No. 4 as demand continued and additional copies were printed.
The strong debut for Kingdom Volume 80 reflects the series’ continued popularity across both print and digital formats.
