CLAY COUNTY, Minn. (KFGO) – The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says a man was found dead in a car pulled from the Buffalo River Thursday.
The Sheriff’s Office says they received the report of a car in the river near 90th Ave N and 50th St around 5 p.m. The caller said they did not see the vehicle go in the river, but saw tire marks on the road.
When deputies arrived they found a car in the east bank of the river, a 24-year-old Fargo man was inside, he was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not been released.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office is still investigating the crash.
Minnesota State Patrol, Sanford Ambulance, Dilworth Fire and Red River Regional Dispatch assisted the Clay County Sheriff’s Office.
