Colt Ford is recovering after a tour bus crash left him with a broken shoulder while he and his crew were traveling to a concert in Germany. In a social media update shared Wednesday, the country-rap artist said first responders pulled him through the bus windshield after the vehicle ended up in a ditch.
Ford said members of his crew were also hurt but confirmed that everyone survived the crash. In the same update, he shared an image showing significant damage to the front of the bus. The exact location of the accident was not disclosed.
The 56-year-old had been scheduled to perform in Ballenstedt, Germany, on Aug. 15. It was not immediately clear whether the performance would go ahead following his injury. Ford also released the new song Fake Redneck on Aug. 14.
The accident comes more than two years after Ford survived a near-fatal heart attack in April 2024. He later made major changes to his diet and exercise routine during his recovery.
