VALLEY CITY, N.D. (KFGO/NewsDakota.com) – A road rage incident led to the arrest of a man in Valley City Wednesday.
Police Chief Nick Horner says just after 4 p.m., the Valley City Police Department responded to a reported road rage incident where a person allegedly stopped and pointed a gun at another car.
Horner says officers located the suspect vehicle and conducted a traffic stop in the parking lot of a convenience store. Following an investigation, officers found a gun, and the driver, Gregory Heckman, 64, of Valley City was arrested.
Heckman is facing charges of driving under the influence and terrorizing.
The Valley City Police Department was assisted by the Barnes County Sheriff’s Office and the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
